How it works

  1. Add each course with credit hours and a letter grade (or edit points directly via the map).
  2. GPA = total quality points ÷ total credits.
  3. Customize the letter map if your school uses different values.
  4. Share or export — nothing is uploaded to a server.

FAQ

What GPA scale does GradeKite use?

A standard 4.0 letter map: A/A+ = 4.0, A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, and so on down to F = 0.0. You can edit the map on this page.

How is GPA calculated?

GPA = Σ(grade points × credit hours) / Σ(credit hours). Courses with missing credits or points are skipped in the totals.

Can I use percentage grades?

This tool is letter / points based. Convert percentages to letters using your school’s scale, or see our letter-to-GPA guide.

Is plus/minus supported?

Yes. The default map includes plus and minus letters. Adjust values if your institution differs.
