GradeKite is a static website. We designed it so calculator inputs do not need a server account.

What we store in your browser

• localStorage key gradecalc:v1 — your recent calculator inputs so they persist between visits on the same device/browser.
• URL hash share links — if you use “Copy share link”, a compact encoded payload is placed in the URL fragment. On load we read it into state and then strip the hash with history.replaceState.

What we do not do

• No user accounts or passwords.
• No Google AdSense or third-party ad networks on this product.
• We do not ask you to upload gradebooks to our servers for these calculators.

Hosting & logs

When the site is served via Cloudflare Pages (or similar), the host may process standard request logs (IP, user agent, URL) as part of delivering the static files. That is infrastructure logging, not a GradeKite account profile.
